Elementary School Mindfulness
Grades K-5
Building Foundation Skills for Learning and Life
Formerly Mindful New Jersey
Elementary school is a critical time for developing attention, emotional regulation, and social skills - all of which support both academic learning and lifelong wellbeing. Research shows that mindfulness practices help students strengthen these capacities in developmentally appropriate ways.
Our K-5 mindfulness curriculum provides age-appropriate practices that integrate seamlessly into the school day. We work with schools to create programming that supports your educational goals, complements SEL initiatives, and gives students practical tools they can use throughout their lives.

Our K-5 programming is grounded in research from the Center for Healthy Minds, Mindful Schools, and leading researchers like Christopher Willard. The curriculum is:
Trauma-informed - Recognizing that many students carry stress and ensuring all practices feel safe and optional
Developmentally appropriate - Activities match the cognitive and emotional capacity of each grade level
Practical and accessible - Students learn techniques they can actually use in real moments of challenge
Integrated with academics - Practices can connect to curriculum content where appropriate
Secular and inclusive - Suitable for all students regardless of background
